Steve Jobs finally made the iPhone 4 official. He’s probably more glad to see this happen than us with more than a couple iPhone 4s prematurely making their way into journalist’s hands over the last few weeks. But none of that really matters anymore. The iPhone 4 is here and will soon launch on Verizon.

Well, it's official. Steve Jobs has uttered the "magic" words. Today at Apple's World Wide Developers Conference, the iPhone 4 was announced, putting all prior forms of speculation to rest.

Here's what was unveiled about the new iPhone:

* New design made of glass and steel (24% thinner than iPhone 3GS)
* Apple A4 processor
* 3.5" Retina Display - 326 pixels per inch (960 x 640)
* Bigger battery (7 hr. 3G talk, 6 hr. 3G browsing, 10 hr. Wi-Fi browsing, 300 hr. standby)
* Front-facing camera
* 5 MP camera with LED flash and illuminated sensor (tap to focus)
* 720p HD video recording
* microSIM
* Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, UMTS, GSM (quad-band)
* 2 microphones
* Up to 32 GB storage
* 802.11n
* 3-axis gyroscope (6-axis motion sensing for gaming)
