Hanju

Tere mere Ishq di khore hor,
Kinne ko varrhe umar honi,
Per ehna akhyian da Rishta rahu,
hun hanjuian naal umar bhar lai.

Tera mere ishq ch vasal taan,
khore hun kade vi na hove,
Per ehna akhayian da vasal rahu,
hun hanjuian naal umar bhar lai.

Tere mere rishte di eh bareek jehi tand,
Taan pata nai kehre jhatke tutt jaave,
Per ehna akhyian ne maar lai koi,
Peede gandh hanjuian naal umar bhar lai.

Rabb di iss duniya ch sabu nu milde ne,
Apne apne hisse de haasse te hanju,
Mere hisse de hasse lagda mukk challe,
hun dhoingi main eh hanju umar bhar lai.

My soul is lost…

I am wandering in my feelings,
From thought to thought I go,
I know I am searching something,
But I don’t know what I seek,
Or why do I seek it at all.

I am moving continuously,
Perhaps aimlessly,
Or perhaps with some hidden aim,
I search inside in that endless dark,
What I truly want.

I am feeling so many things,
At the same time,
Calmness, stillness, peace,
Quietness, tranquillity,
Yet that endless restlessness,
Agitation, impatience,
Am I still fighting with something?
Unseen, unknown,
Or it’s just that I have given it up.

I am having endless questions,
The ones, so hard to be answered,
Yes I seek,
I seek the answers,
Or perhaps some new questions,
But I know one thing for sure,
My soul is lost….
Yes, it is lost somewhere.
