First it was Salman Khan and now it is director Subhash Ghai who seems extremely excited about the film I Hate Luv Storys. He compares Imran-Sonam’s pair to the hit-hit jodi of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit – the pair that ruled the box office in the 90s with several hits.
Ghai decided to buy the distribution rights of the film IHLS for the Delhi and Uttar Pradesh area. He bought Karan Johar’s produced IHLS, for Rs 3.5 crore from UTV. Ghai’s cousin Sanjay who looks after his business in the north confirmed this news to a daily.
Sanjay says, “We were thinking of buying the rights of this film for a month-and-half now.” He believes, that they have struck a good deal as the movie looks promising and Imran-Sonam are looking smashing together.
IHLS is set to release on July 2.
