The Gurudwara Singh Sabha of Washington opened in Renton in 1993, servicing over 2,000 Sikhs in the Puget Sound area. It grew from a small wood-frame structure to a 23,000 square foot building in 1997. It is located at 5200 Talbot Road in Renton.

I feel proud to see so many Gurudwaras at so many different locations all over the world, it then reminds that blood of martyrs don't go waste.

If our Gurus had not taught us to raise heads against the oppressors and Guru Arjun Dev ji had not started the tradition of Martyrs, you never know if there would have been a Single Nishan Sahib anywhere.

the historical gurdwaras in india are quite well maintained. And since a few years Pakistan has started to repair some gurdwaras which is fine. As i came to know that there are ven gurdwaras related to Guru Ji in Nepal, Saudi Arab, Azarbaijan, i thought how would their situation be as not many Sikh in world know about these gurdwaras let alone having visited them...
