Carrot Salad

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

1/2 cup - soaked moong dal (to soak for 1/2hr)
2 - grated carrots
1 cup - grated coconut
1 - lemon
1 bunch - coriander
Salt as per taste
2 - chopped green chillies
1 small tsp - oil
For seasoning: 1/2 spoon of mustard, cumin and urad dal
1 red chilli


  1. Mix moong dal, grated carrot, grated coconut, chopped chillies and add salt and lemon juice.
  2. Heat oil and temper mustard, cumin and urad dal and pieces of red chilli.
  3. This low oil vegetable salad is tasty and can be served with roti or rice.
