ਸਾਡੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਸਿਰਫ ਇੰਨੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ "ਅਸੀ ਗੁਰੂ 'ਤੋਂ' ਪੜਨਾ ਸੀ .. ਗੁਰੂ 'ਨੂੰ' ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜਨਾ ਸੀ ।"

ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ "ਤੋ" ਪੜਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ... ਰਾਮ, ਸਿਵ , ਦੁਰਗਾ ਆਦਿ ਕਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ... ਪਰ ਅਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਿਤ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਦੀ ਡਿਕਸ਼ਨਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ 'ਨੂੰ' ਪੜਨ ਲਗ ਪਏ ...

That shakti is situated in a temple in form of stone on a carved lion.......sggs shakti is situated inself......and is on a lion of bebak budh

Na na...im not allergic......but you saying it repesents prevailing dities of hinduism is not fair tooo.......hindus forget correct meaning of Thr own terms ....and sikhs are correcting them....wuts wrong in that ...?

Wherever I look, I see the Lord pervading there, in the union of Shiva and Shakti, of consciousness and matter. (p21)

If Shiv is the name of God and Shakti too, how did they join ? wouldn't they always be Joined

Shaktism says - Shakti ( eternal power ) and Shiv ( Consciousness ) joined together to form GOD.

Guru Nanak Dev ji bhi eehi keh rahe.

Enforcing His Order, He Himself sees all. How rare are those who,
as Gurmukh, come to know Him.

ਤੋੜੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਹੋਵੈ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ॥
Torrae bandhhan hovai mukat sabad mann vasaaeae ||
They break their bonds, and attain liberation;
they enshrine the Shabad within their minds.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਆਪਿ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਏਕਸ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥
Guramukh jis no aap karae su hovai eaekas sio liv laaeae ||
Those whom the Lord Himself makes Gurmukh,
lovingly focus their consciousness on the One Lord.

ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥੨੬॥
Kehai naanak aap karathaa aapae hukam bujhaaeae ||26||
Says Nanak, He Himself is the Creator;
He Himself reveals the Hukam of His Command. ||26||

ਇਹ ਕਬਿਤ "ਗੁਰਮਤ" ਰੂਪ ਦੇਵੀ ( ਮਤੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਵਰ ਜੇਸਟ ( ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ )) ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ :

ਕਬਿਤੁ ॥

ਸੰਕਟ ਹਰਨ ਸਭ ਸਿੱਧਕੀ ਕਰਨ ਚੰਡ ਤਾਰਨ ਤਰਨ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਲੋਚਨ ਬਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ ॥
ਭਾਵ- "ਗੁਰਮਤ" ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ(ਲੋਚਨ ) ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਹੈ( ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਸੋਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੋਟੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ), ਇਸ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਬ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾ (ਸੰਕਟ) ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ, ਤੇ ਹਰ ਤਰਹ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼, ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡ ਕੇ ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ

ਆਦਿ ਜਾਕੈ ਆਹਮ ਹੈ ਅੰਤ ਕੋ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਉਬਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ਹੈ ॥
ਭਾਵ - ਇਹ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਧੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੁਭਾਏਮਾਨ ਹੈ ( ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ "ਧੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਨੀ" ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਬ ਸਗਲੀ ਚਿੰਤ ਮਿਟਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ). ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਿਆ, ਜੋ ਇਸ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ , ਓਸ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਖੁਦ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ

ਅਸੁਰ ਸੰਘਾਰਨ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੁਖ ਜਾਰਨ ਸੋ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਛਡਾਏ ਜਮਜਾਲ ਹੈ॥
ਭਾਵ- ਇਹ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਰੂਪ ਰਾਖਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ , ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾਵਾ ਰੂਪ ਭੁਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮਨ ਪਤਿਤ ਭਾਵ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਗੁਆ ਚੁਕਾ ਹੈ, ਓਸ ਦਾ ਉਧਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਮਾ ਦੇ ਧਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ

ਦੇਵੀ ਬਰ ਲਾਇਕ ਸਬੁੱਧਿਹੂ ਕੀ ਦਾਇਕ ਸੁ ਦੇਹ ਬਰ ਪਾਇਕ ਬਨਾਵੈ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ ॥੭॥
ਭਾਵ - ਏਹੋ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਰੂਪ ਮਤੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਬੁਧ ( ਸੁਬੁਧ ) ਬਖਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਏਹੋ ਹੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਬੁਧ ਦੇ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਸਦਕਾ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ

Sikhs have their own devi....... sikhism talks about guruDev.....you are trying to read english with punjabi dictionary ....not going to happen....... and my mistake I thght ur getting the concept.......I wanted to show that sex of god in not determined...... parmaatam ..... de nal kann paadeo.... te female paramaatma......female......samje kuchh ??
