i am not offending anyone or reply on anyones msg but give me one reason that y we should not introduce ourselves as punjabis rather then saying we are indias :? and dont any anything like we should be united and all!!!

If classifying as Punjabi is racist then classifying as Indian is also racist.....going by this logic: any classification that distinguish you is racism. Therefore biggest RACISM is the different surnames ppl use.....

Better is to not classify it as racism, it is person's attachment.
If someone is more attached to Punjab, Punjabi food, Punjabi music, Punjabi language then he can call himself Punjabi....nothing wrong in it. everyone should have freedom and choice

Say your in a crowd of 1000 People and You keep saying am Punjabi this n that , that is disrespectful and Racist ,Because your trying to look superior .

I don't know why people always have to bring religion in the Punjabi/Indian Thing.

Punjab doesn't belong to one Religion/or represents one religion, Let me refresh you all PUNJAB = PUNJ + AAB Punjab Punj Paaniya naal baneya si., it represents one community that has Hindu Muslim Sikhs Jains budhs who were born and brought up in Punjab regardless. Punjab was formed thousands of years ago , and if you want it to appear as a SIKH State , sorry guys that ain't the case because Muslim/Hindus were the people living in Punjab since it was created and Sikh Religion came into practice around 400 years ago.

I am not offending anyone .

If people here think Only Sikhs have sacrificed in India , think about others too . So many hindu/muslims lost their lives too.

You dont have to bring all these things in every single topic , people here talk same in every thread

I guess we are discussing here is what you relate more being Punjabi or being Indian??

stressing again, there is nothing racist in being Punjabi, it makes as much sense as being Indian. Many of us here speak Punjabi, sing Punjabi, listen Punjabi, dance Punjabi.....for them it relates to be more being Punjabi.

For being Punjabi, you don't need to be of any religion or particular nation.

Whoever you are, be that. Do not under-estimate your arts/culture/language/history.
AND BEING PUNJABI DOES NOT MEAN HATING INDIA.........PUNJABIS LOVE EVERYONE..........PUNJABI DO NOT HATE INDIANs, PAKISTANIs or HINDUs, MUSSALMAN etc.
