Nokia Lumia Black Update now rolling out

Nokia has recently started rolling out the new Nokia Lumia Black Update for its Lumia series Smartphones. Nokia Lumia 1020 on AT&T is the first device to get this update. The update brings several new improvements to Nokia Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520 Smartphone. The update brings an enhanced glance screen, support for Bluetooth Low Engery Profile, few new customization and personalization options.

[1] Storage. Easily manage temporary files and free up storage space. New option, show what’s taking up space.
[2] Driving Mode. It minimizes incoming calls and text messages for safety purpose when you are on the road.
[3] Screen. Option to lock the screen orientation so it doesn’t shift when you move your phone around.
[4] Wi-Fi. Allows you to set up your WiFi connection before going through the start up process.
[5] Internet sharing. Now you can use your phone’s cellular data connection from your Microsoft Windows 8.1 devices by pairing them over Bluetooth.
[6] Accessibility: Some new improvements for those who are visually impaired.
[7] Bluetooth. Several fixes were made to address known issues, and improvements were made to connection quality for Bluetooth accessories.
[8] Ringtones. Assign ringtones for text messages, so you’ll know who’s texting you without even looking. Use your custom ringtones for more things—text messages, instant messages, emails, voicemail, and reminders.
[9] App switcher. Now you can use the App switcher to quickly close apps when you’re finished with them.
