India is the first country in world where withdrawal of people's own money is capped. It seems that we are having charity money distribution. So little inconvenience is tolerable. Wake up people it is our hard earned money which is mis branded as black by clever politician so that we fortify our claim and gift it to govt. I suggest that people should turn in the money regardless of penalty so that RBI cannot gift the surplus gold it has as security against the currency.

GDP will be declining @ more than 2%. most of the small scale business will be shut down. it will give rise to unemployment means more cheap labor for big industrialists. poor will die out. as quoted by Dr Manmohan Singh "in longer run we all are dead."

Demonetization move has failed to achieve its objective. It has given govt run from its stands. They had though that they will be enough gold left(people will not be surrendering money) but by figures in print the money to be left out of circulation is just 2% of the circulation. The rest will back with RBI. They have announce of 200% penalty (a lie) now they say 50% penalty + lockin period of 4 years. They have to pass an act for it a mere govt notification cannot do it. They donot have a majority in upper house and opposition stand united on this issue. They have not expected the united opposition in the scenario. In longer run the govt will byte its words. Only ordinary People will suffer.

The idea to make a cashless economy is not bad.. but anyone knows that to achieve such a goal baby steps need to be taken.. jiss country ch crores de vich population aa.. uthe idan da achievement raton raton ni ho janda.. 86% di circulation de wich si aa 2 notes.. bank ch paise tan pure aa nahi rahe.. uton printing rush de chakkar ch 500 de 2 tarah de note print hogaye ne..

as per estimates the black money is almost converted to white money. only comman man is suffering. banks have added 80000 crores loan to NPA category and provisioned to be written off. Its becomimg more a headache to people. only poor are standing in queue. Rich have already manuplated their kitty. Cash disbursement is becoming lean with pay days approaching. Only God nows what will happen in coming days.

I have some friends who belong to middle class business families ( Saturday group wale )
they are struggling to convert instead they are indulging now.
new cars, foreign trips etc. jithe back date vich billing ho sakdi.

its a way to grab more capital from market which can be given to big industrialists ( adani/ambani/malya etc) as huge loans for there ventures.

Isn't it easier to counterfeit a higher value note.. why didn't they just have a 500rs note and ban the 1000rs note completely and not produce a 2000rs note at all rather only have a currency of upto 500rs.. wouldn't that have helped them focus on the printing of one note.. and then circulation would have been alot more faster.

hope so, distributing all that money to general public as easy loans will be ver disruptive.
Inflation will rise and property price will plummet.

industrialists will soak money, gradually expand businesses and create employment opportunities.

far easier to replace small denomination notes with bigger notes.

only 1/4 notes required to replace 500x notes.
