buy lavash & pita from the store to save time , the dips & all are better prepared at home
1) Salsa
3-4 tomatoes, chopped ( blanch in water & peel)
Onion , garlic, salt, pepper, vinegar(prefer white wine vinegar), dhaniya
ensure everything is freshly chopped & mix .. u can also bhuno the tamatar on flame to hv the charred taste
2) cheesy dip(not dominos wali)
adha cup dudh, 4 cheese slices, capsicum , salt n pepper
add to a pan, cook for 3-4 mins n serve immediately ( this one cant be stored in frig, lumpy ho jaati hai)
3) Guacamole
avocados,onion paste(fine wala) tamatar(seed nikal ke)1,2 jaleponos, dhania, salt pepper
Avocados ko scoop out karlo and mix all the ingredients together ... avocado ke seed ko dip mein daal do, ur guacamole wont turn dark & will remain fresh
4) Hung curd dip
hang a bowl of dahi in a muslin cloth( takes abt 30 mins for all the water to drain out )
onion capsicum, lassan , hari mirche, salt pepper lemon juice
fine chop all the ingredients but dont puree & mix em all together, add a lil milk if the dip gets too thick for u
5) Hummus wid a twist
olive oil mein fresh rosemary leaves ko thoda sa bhoon lo
processer mein safed chole( poori raat bheege hue) daal ke churn kar lo, till absolutely fine
naale upar waale patte & olive oil aad karo n churn , saath hi garlic, salt , pepper & a lil dahi if u want , and nimbu
churn well, make sure to add olive oil liberally else it becomes too dry
6) Pesto
2 cup tulsi leaves, grated parmesan cheese, garlic, chilgoze ya walnuts, salt & pepper and olive oil
sab processor mein churn kar lo.. ensure tulsi i pureed well wid oil & nuts are a lil coarse , u can added burned/fried & dried garlic to enhance the taste
7) Jalepenos poppers
jalepeno le ke slit maar ke andar cheese bhar lo( i used gouda par didnt taste as nice as goat cheese wud hv)
ek bowl mein milk le lo , ek mein cornflour, flour ka paste dip each popper in milk first then in the flour and keep aside for 10 mins to dry
bread crumbs mein halka sa salt & laal mirchi powder mix kar lo , roll each popper in this & deep fry for not more than 3-4 mins
8) Money bags
take oil in a pan add onion n garlic to it , fry for a while , add mushroom, peas, carrots, gobhi, zucchini, baby corn, peppers ( basically any veg u like) make sure the veggies are finely chopped .. add soy sauce, salt pepper, vinegar n lemon juice , cook for a bit & then let it cool down
i used store bought wrappers but u can make them at home ... make a maide ki roti with a lil salt & oil( jst like plain bhaturas) and cut it in a square shape
ek chammach sabzi ko wrapper ke centre mein rakkho & fold it in a potli shape... brush cold water to the sides to seal it a bit... dhaniye ki stem ko ek minute hot water mein immerse karke blanch kar lo.. use this to tie the top of the moneybag...
