Nottinghamshire vs Durham
At Trent Bridge, the clash between Nottinghamshire and Durham ended in a draw. Brendan Taylor shone bright with an unbeaten 105 on the fourth and final day.
Starting the day on 100 for 1, Nottinghamshire batsmen got starts but failed to convert them into big knocks. Jake Libby was the first one to fall in the day after he added nine runs to his overnight score before being dismissed by Chris Rushworth for 42.
Taylor and Michael Lumb (52) added 97 tuns for the fifth wicket before the latter was caught and bowled by Scott Brothwick.
Brief Scores: Nottinghamshire 534 and 289-5 in 64 overs (Brendan Taylor 105*; Scott Brothwick 3-73) drew with Durham 447 (Brothwick 188*; Jackson Bird 4-109).
Middlesex vs Hampshire
At the Merchant Taylors' School Ground in Northwood, Hampshire ended on 100 for 4 before bad light stopped play on the third day after just 17 overs into the day.
Starting the day on 62 for 3 after being asked to follow on, Hampshire lost Liam Dawson (23) before Jimmy Adams (47 not out) and Joe Wetherley (4 not out) continued to fight.
Earlier, Middlesex had posted 467 for 3 declared after centuries from Dawid Malan, Adam Voges and John Simpson.
Brief Scores: Middlesex 467 for 3 (Adam Voges 160*, Dawid Malan 147, John Simpson 100*) lead Hampshire 131 and 100-4 (Jimmy Adams 47*) by 236 runs.
Yorkshire vs Lancashire
At Headingley, set a target of 346 by Yorkshire, Lancashire were 41 for 1 at stumps on the third day after bad light stopped play. Lancashire still need 308 runs to win after Yorkshire folded for 236 in their second innings.
Yorkshire started the day on 77 for 3 but Neil Wagner (4 for 71) ran through their middle-order to reduce them to 89 for 6. Liam Plunkett resisted with an 84-ball 57 to lift the team past the 200-run mark and give the bowlers something to bowl at.
In their chase, Lancashire lost Tom Smith (15) in the 13th over after a cautious start. Haseeb Hameed and Luke Procter then played out the remaining 10.2 overs before bad light forced an early end to the day.
Brief Scores: Yorkshire 308 and 236 (Liam Plunkett 57; Neil Wagner 4-71) lead Lancashire 196 and 41-1 by 308 runs.

Northamptonshire vs Essex
Incessant rain came in the way of what could've been Essex's third win of the season as only six overs were bowled on Day 4 at the County Ground in Northampton. Twelve points from the draw, however, helped them strengthen their position at the top of the Division Two points table. Northamptonshire, who began the day on 56 for 4 and a deficit of 140 runs lost another wicket before showers came to their rescue. The hosts earned 11 points from what is their sixth draw in seven games to occupy the seventh spot in the table.
Brief score: Northamptonshire 444 (Ben Duckett 189, Ravi Bopara 5-95) and 75 for 5 (Ben Duckett 33, Matthew Quinn 2-25) drew with Essex 640 (Ryan ten Doechate 145, Ben Foster 113, Jaik Mickleburgh 103, Richard Gleeson 4-105)
Sussex vs Derbyshire
Shiv Thakor's fight didn't last long on the final day at the County Ground in Hove as he managed to add just 23 runs to his overnight tally of 58. The lower order showed some brave resistence but that too was short-lived as Derbyshire were bundled out for 307 in the second innings, leaving Sussex with just 11 runs to complete victory which they achieved in the very first over with 10 wickets to spare.

Hosts Kent are all set to split points with Leicestershire after the third day's play was washed out completely. Having already lost 47 overs on the second day due to drizzle and bad light, a draw looks the likeliest result. Daniel Bell-Drummond had continued his fine form in the season to make an unbeaten 65 in Kent's reply to Leicestershire's first innings total of 341 that was aided my Mark Cosgrove's century.

Gloucestershire tried to force a win by declaring their first innings 75 runs short of Worcestershire's total. The move paid off for the visitors as their bowlers reduced the home side to 151 for 5 in the second innings. With the lead now stretching to 226, we have an exciting final day on the cards.
Earlier, Graeme van Buuren added 68 more runs to his overnight score and remained unbeaten on 172 and was aided by Craig Miles, who helped himself to a half-century. After the declaration, the hosts got off to a poor start as they lost two wickets early on with just 20 on the board. Daryl Mitchell scored a quickfire half-century. Liam Norwell picked up three wickets for the visitors.
