Caste system is very much practiced in sikhism. Yes ther's d bani of lower-castes, but it begins with an
introduction like 'bani namdev di, or kabir or ravidas di. It's jus to remind d reader dat what d reader
is abt to read is something written by some choodha, chamar or julaha.
It's clear lower-castes hv bin singled out.
Ther's tirlochans bani, or d bhatt's, but dey wer upper castes,
so no need was felt to inform d reader whose bani dey wer reading.

Thanks for posting pictures of temples made after independence of our country. These are newly built places. it could not be true that guru arjan dev ji singled out lower casted one. If that was the case it should not been here in written form. It is a pattern of identifying the writer of shabad in guru granth sahib ji like mahala pehla means guru Nanak dev ji. Mahala 5 means guru arjan dev ji. Namdev ji ravidas ji kabir ji have more shabads in guru granth sahib ji than other bhagats and bhats.

It's a historical fact dat Srichand made some additions, so possibly other additions may hv bin made...

Wen d lower-caste became Sikhs d corrupt elements of Sikhs wanted a clear distinction btween d high caste n low caste Sikhs.

But it sure wasn't during british rule that d krishna temple rotated to face namdev, a low caste. I'm yet to see
a gurudwara rotate for all those dirty' homeless tramps who r not allowed inside gurudwara's even for langar.
Nobody is going to build a memorial in namdev's name at d golden twmple coz he was a shudra.
