Microsoft have just announced their Global release dates for the few global territories that will be getting the console this year.
The Xbox One will be releasing on the 22nd of November for all of the 13 release territories, including the US and the UK...
This puts the release a week after the initial Playstation 4 release, but still a week before the PS4 UK release, making the holiday season all to play for. The Xbox One will be releasing with titles such as Forza 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome as exclusives; not to mention cross platform games like Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag and Watch Dogs.
So there we are, the stage is set, and there's still time to get some popcorn and a good seat to watch the release date fireworks. Remember, all Xbox One consoles will need to be activated online during their setup; we can only hope Microsoft has learned from numerous mistakes made by others in the past.
