Windows 8.1 Update 1 screenshots leaked, shows no new features

Microsoft is currently working on a new minor update for its Windows 8.1 users which will be coming in the spring. This new β€œUpdate 1β€³ package is designed specifically for developers to improve the share code use between Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Recently a Russian lacquer WZor has shared a few screenshots of an early Windows 8.1 Update 1 Build and he has also revealed that PC manufacturers will be getting this version later this month for the test.

These leaked screenshots doesn’t reveal any new changes or new features. Microsoft was expected to bring back the old version of the Start Menu in Windows, but by looking at these leaked images it seems like we have to wait a little more for that. Microsoft is expected to finalize the Update 1 package in March and a public release is expected in April. It will be just a minor update, but the much larger improvements are expected to come in early 2015.
