Honda, it seems has a new marketing strategy. While most manufacturers let their bikes be “accidently” clicked by “random” people while testing and general roaming around, Honda has decided to do away with the blanket of secrecy. The new Honda 2012 has been found to be on display at a showroom in Hong Kong.

The bike doesn’t appear to have been taken back to the drawing board for a major overhaul but rather nip tucked a little here and there. In a quick glace, it might not even register as anything different from the 2010 model. The big brother CBR does however receive new alloys, fairings and forks at both the front and rear. The biggest issue with the looks of the bike still has to do with the front which has been made better by giving it a bird beak like point. Still it’s got a long way to go. For the rider, the cool new display might come as a refreshing change and some might thank Honda for not saying “Hello” every time it’s switched on.

Given the rising prices of superbikes, Honda might have an advantage by being able to under cut the competition with its price saving methods used to make the new CBR 1000RR. Honda seems to have saved money with the techno gizmos on this motorcycle. Of course, we can only confirm this once the bike is launched. And yes, as always, we will let you know what the bike is all about once we get our hands on it. Meanwhile enjoy this video:
