We will not oppose 'ADHM's release: MNS after Raj Thackeray, CM Devendra Fadnavis and producers' meeting

The verdict is finally is out by MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) on the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' controversy that was making headlines for a long time now and MNS has apparently decided that they will not oppose the release of Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
Today, the MNS chief, Raj Thackeray, and filmmaker Karan Johar had a meeting with the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the release of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' which was also attended by Film & Television Producers Guild of India president, Mukesh Bhatt.
Though Raj Thackeray has agreed to the release of 'ADHM' without any ban, the MNS chief has now demanded that every producer who has cast Pakistani artists will give Rs. 5 crore to Army relief fund.

The film that features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, ran into trouble after Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) said it won't allow the release of any movie in India that featured Pakistani artistes. However, now the film is out of controversy and will not face any threats from MNS.

Today, after Mahesh Bhatt's constructive talk with Fadnavis over the issue, The Film & Television Producers Guild of India have assured that they will not work with any Pakistani artistes in the future. In lieu of that, MNS Raj Thackeray has now demanded an official letter regarding the same.
Mukesh Bhatt added that Karan Johar had said that he will run a special slate honoring the martyrs before the start of the movie as it will be a tribute to our soldiers. The Producer's Guild will also contribute to the Army Welfare Fund.
