PPCC President Amarinder Singh has said that his visit to the Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa, was a part of his programme to pay a courtesy call to all the prominent dera heads across the state.
In a statement issued here this evening, Amarinder said, “The visit to the dera was in pursuance of secular ideals of the Congress, which holds all religions, faiths and sects in equal respect.”
Amarinder said he had decided to visit all the deras in Punjab and neighbouring states. “I have already visited the Dera Beas and the Dera Sacha Sauda and will be visiting other deras in the coming months,” he added.
