Vietnam has lifted the ban on import of Indian groundnut, providing market access after nine months. According to a statement issued by the Agriculture Ministry, the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have communicated the decision to India.
The lifting of ban has come in the wake of visit of Vietnam delegation to India in December 2015. The delegation was satisfied after seeing fumigation facilities, export procedures and export certification system for export of groundnuts from India.
