Toast Samosas

Ingredients

For filling:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 chicken breast cut into thin small strips.
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped into small cubes.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint
  • 2 green chili finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slices of toast
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c bread crumbs
  • Oil for deep frying
Directions
  1. In a pan heat oil & fry the Onion till transparent.
  2. Add the Chicken,& fry until it changes it's colour.
  3. Add salt, pepper & garam masala Keep stiring & frying for 10 min.
  4. Remove from heat, Add the greens & toss to combine all.
  5. Allow to cool then add the cheese & toss again to combine all together.
  6. Roll out the breads with a rolling pin till flat & take off the sides.
  7. With a large circle cookie cutter cut each toast out.
  8. Fill each circle with filling & fold into half circle & stick the edges with some beaten egg.
  9. Carry on doing the same with all the toasts & cover with a wet cloth so that they don't dry out.
  10. Dip each samosa into egg then into bread crumbs.
  11. Heat oil & deep fry the samosas till nice & golden.
  12. Serve with your choice of chutney & tea.
