THIEVES NABBED, 17 BIKES RECOVERED

The police has nabbed a gang of motorcycle thieves and recovered 17 motorcycles from them. All bikes are new and the accused opened the locks of motorcycles with a duplicate key.
Receiving a tip-off, the police arrested the accused from South City naka and recovered three stolen vehicles. During the interrogation, the accused admitted that they had stolen 14 more motorcycles from various places of the district.
According to SP-City, the accused Hardeep Singh alias Deepa, a resident of Shekhupura, and two Uttar Pradesh residents, Sukhreem Kumar and Manoj Kumar, were running the gang.
According to the police, the accused prepared duplicate documents and change the number plate of the bikes and sold it in the market. The accused have been send to a police remand till September 29.
