Samsung’s mirror-less Android camera Galaxy NX is official. The company announced it at a press event in London on 20th June 2013 and it is world’s first mirror-less interchangeable lens Android camera with 4G LTE as the main connectivity option.
For those anxious about its operating system, you guessed it right, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean. But the unexpected thing in this camera is its processor, Samsung Galaxy NX comes with two processors – Samsung’s DRIMeIV Image processor for imaging and quad-core 1.6GHz CPU for the system operations. Both the chips work hand in hand with each other provide the best possible imaging for its user.
Galaxy NX is compatible with the 13 lenses available for NX family including the recently announced 10mm F3.5 Fisheye lens. So, you are getting a professional imaging experience with support for thousands of apps in Galaxy NX.
Myoung Sup Han, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics said,

According to Samsung, Galaxy NX will be available sometime in 3rd Quarter of this year i.e from July-September in markets across the globe. We don’t have any idea about the device pricing but expect it to be priced around 900$-1000$.
