Punjab transfers 16 IPS Officers

Chandigarh October 6:

The Punjab Government transferred 16 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in the state with immediate effect.

A government release today said Amritsar Superintendent of Police (SP) CID Manmohan Singh has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant 27 battalion Punjab Armed Police, Jalandhar, while Patiala SP Rajinder Singh is now SP (H), Batala.

Mr Paramjit Singh Goraya has been posted as SP (D), Amritsar Rural and Mr Randhir Singh Uppal is now posted as SP (D), Hoshiarpur. Mr Rajinder Singh becomes Assistant Commandant Third Reserve Battalion, Ludhiana, while Mr Harpreet Singh is posted as Additional Police Commissioner (ADCP), Ludhiana-4.
Mr Harjinder Singh is now Senior Superintendent of Police (Vigilance), Amritsar and Mr Amarjeet Singh Bajwa becomes SP (D), Khanna. Mr Gursharan Singh Bedi is posted as SP (H), Khanna while Mr Vijay Kumar is now SP (D), Faridkot.

Mr Jatinder Singh Benipal becomes SP (S), Faridkot and Mr Kuldeep Singh is now ADCP (Crime), Ludhiana. Mr Surinder Singh has been posted as Assistant Commandant Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) while Mr Satpal Joshi is now posted as ADCP (Traffic and Security), Amritsar. Mr Varinder Singh Brar is posted as SP, Abohar and Mr Harmohan Singh becomes SP (Vigilance).
