looks like any software/hardware is making this problem :-?

try to avoid installing useless softwares or also unplug any hardware like printers,Inbuilt Modem card etc. they also may cause the problem :-?

check if drivers are installed correctly,Try to connect Lumia on another PC :-?
Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista

  1. Make sure that the Zune player or phone is not connected to your computer.
  2. Open Programs and Features:
For Windows 7 or Windows Vista: Click Start, type appwiz.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.
For Windows 8: Type uninstall at the Start screen, click or tap Settings in the right panel, and then click or tap Uninstall a program.
  3. In the Uninstall or change a program box, click Zune, and then click Uninstall.
  4. Click Yes to remove the Zune software.
  5. If any of the following software is listed in the "Uninstall or change a program” window, remove that software from the computer:
    • Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0
    • Windows Driver Package – Microsoft WPD
    • Windows Media Format 11 SDK
    • Windows Portable DevicesNote If you receive an error message that states that there are program dependencies blocking the removal of the software, do not remove that software. Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0 and Windows Driver Package – Microsoft WPD are automatically installed when you run Zune setup. If you must have the Windows Media Format 11 SDK installed, you can reinstall the software from the MSDN Windows Media Developer Center website after you install the Zune software.

  1. Open the C:\Program files folder.
  2. Locate and right-click the Zune folder, and then click Delete.
