Get 110V laptop chargers from ebay. The ones made for North America.
The adapters should say:- Input AC 100-240 V~ But, I do not recommend this method, your motherboard can very easily fry from fluctuations besides I think your existing will say 100-240V.


The best and cheapest method is get a step-up transformer.

Edit:- Any idea what the voltage *and* current in the house are? Either the current is low for the adapter or the voltage is high for the adapter. So identifying either will help your arrive at a permanent solution. Laptop not being charged by adapter probably means current being supplied is low.
