Recipe Peach Cobbler

2 cans 16 oz sliced peaches
1/3 cup sugar (for syrup mixture)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1/3 cup sugar (for dough)

In a medium saucepan, combine the peaches with syrup, the first 1/3 cup sugar, the spices and cornstarch. Bring to boiling.

Pour into an ungreased 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

Prepare the cake mix dough per the box except add the second 1/3 cup of sugar to the dry ingredients. Drop the dough from tablespoon onto the hot peaches.

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 mintes or until top is lightly browned.
