For the past 8 hours, the city of Ludhiana has been struggling with the scorching heat without electricity. Its been reported that the Lalton Kalan fire grid caught fire today and to add to the worries of the residents, the city wont be having the electricity for the next one to two days.
It has completely thrown the life out of gear for the Ludhiana residents. The students who have their examination tomorrow are studying with the candles and the torch lights. The inverters have also failed. The residents are bound to spend sleepless nights. The complaint centres have held up the telephones as infinite complaints are coming in.
The routine has been disturbed due to lack of water that accompanied the electricity failure. This major power failure has virtually left the entire Ludhiana city without electricity.
