This could be music to your ears. Regional music distributor Music Master has just gone live with what it calls "the most comprehensive music download website in the Middle East".
Whatever your wish when it comes to music, music-master.com hopes to be your new genie in a bottle.
"It's new and exciting but much more than just a music download site," Saeed Elajou (pictured), managing director, told tabloid! "It's legal, it's cheap at just Dh3 per track or Dh30 for an album, and offers great download deals.
"For instance, which other website offers the chance for two tickets to see Take That live at Wembley Stadium in London every time you simply download a Take That track? We plan to offer people much, much more for their money."
More to come
More than three million songs are already available online. But with ties to all four major international music labels — Universal, EMI, Warner and Sony Music — as well as a strong Arabic music catalogue from the labels' regional arms, it's the scope of what's to come that is impressive, promises Elajou.
With the most popular music download option, iTunes, not yet available in the region, the website claims theirs is the best, and most legitimate, option.
In the region, it will directly compete with Nokia's music store, music.ovi.com, the Abu Dhabi Media Company-owned Getmo.ae and the Bahrain-based urfilez.com.
"It's no secret that piracy is a big issue in this part of the world and we want to do our bit to help combat it. After all, the music industry is relying on it in order to keep making music," Elajou added.
Other bonuses include its flexibility when downloading. "We do not limit where the download can go. It can be transferred from iPhone to iPad, iPod and computer," he said.
