Madhur’s image is no worry for Ajay
Madhur Bhandarkar might be known to make hard hitting realistic films but with his next: DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI, Madhur will be pushing the frontiers of his filmmaking talent.
Though many in the industry might be waiting with bated breath the fate of Madhur’s shot at comedy, here’s one person who is least bother by Madhur’s image.
Actor Ajay Devgan, who is playing a central role in Madhur’s comic film is least bothered by his “realistic filmmaker” image. Ajay feels that though DIL TOH BACCHA bears Madhur’s quintessential stamp, but it is altogether a different film when compared with his earlier subjects.
Says he, “Our film DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI is very different from what Madhur has attempted earlier. I have no issues with Madhur’s image as just the hard-hitting filmmaker since I know how capable he is when it comes to dealing with different subjects. His next film, though a comedy, is full of realism as it is the story that is so relevant in today’s time. Madhur has again captured the pulse of the society but has decided to deal with it in a fun way this time.”
With DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI, Ajay will once again reinforce his versatility, an area were competing with him is not an easy affair.
