Season 5 of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Indian television’s iconic quiz show, which will be aired on Sony Entertainment television from August 15, is set to get bigger and better. The show which will be hosted by Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the Indian version of UK based game show, ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire?’
In the last season the show had many people on hot seat which were mainly from small towns. And Big B’s popularity played a prominent role in attracting people from smaller parts of India to appear on KBC. This year the channel and production house plans to do the same. More focus will be on featuring the aspirations and dreams of the people from small towns.
Speaking of the prize money the source from the channel says that the prize money is 5 crores and this time there will special episodes of celebs and special themes also in the show.
