Intel Corporation is famous for its innovative CPUs which captured all the computer and laptop market. Intel also tried its hands in Mobile and Tablet market and got some success with its powerful x86 based processors.

Intel is now ready with its new armor i.e. The Intel Atom Based Bay-Trail Quad Core Chips. Bay Trail is based on Intel’s next generation 22nm micro-architecture which is going to be more power efficient. As per our observations, ports of Bay-Trail chips are in completion phase. It is clear that Bay Trail chips will be launched with Windows 8 Tablet Platform First and thereafter, it will proceed to android. Rumors also reflect that Acer could be the first to get powered by the next generation Intel atom processors.

At present Clover-trail is being used in devices which is a dual core atom processor which is empowering Lenovo K900 and many others phones and tablets. Intel’s Clover Trail chips are based on 32nm architecture which performs two times faster then previous Intel atom single core chips. It is the power of Dual Core Intel chips which outperformed Quad Core Arm based processors. Intel and Samsung are also working together to boost their projects. Example of which is expected to come in a month or two where Samsung will be launching its Tab 3 10 inch series based on Clovertrail processor and on the otherside they both are developing a platform Tizen together to throw android and windows away from the market.

We can expect Bay trail to launch after October 2013. It is a big question now ” Are we going to see Intel based smartphones and tablets in dominance in near future ?”
