That’s only the film’s title
Imran Khan’s fiancée Avantika Malik needn’t worry. Imran’s excitement over ‘Short Term Shaadi’ is only limited to the title of Karan Johar’s next production starring the young Khan opposite Kareena Kapoor.
The movie, to be directed by newcomer Shakun Batra, will be a romantic comedy. We hear that Imran and the film’s writer Ayesha Devitre are gung ho about calling the movie ‘Short Term Shaadi’, but director Shakun Batra, who is in fact Imran’s friend, has downrightly disapproved of the title.
Shakun is not even in favour of using it as a working title.
Karan Johar, who is backing Shakun, has dropped ‘Short Term Shaadi’ as the title and hunt is on for a new catchy, crunchy name for the movie.
