A Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) delegation, led by its president Avtar Singh Makkar, today met Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and demanded a judicial probe into the Sikh massacre in Hondh Chiller village in Rewari district of Haryana during 1984 riots.
SGPC sources here said the delegation submitted a memorandum to Mr Chidambaram seeking a probe into the massacre by a judge of Supreme Court. They said Mr Chidambaram assured them that he would look into their demand.
