German Potato Salad - Easy Microwave Recipe
Ingredients for German Potato Salad
4 cups sliced cooked potatoes
6 slices bacon
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar (or a little less)
1 1/2 tsp. sale
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
How to make German potato salad in the microwave
Bake potatoes in the microwave. Cool slightly, peel, and slice.
Cut bacon in small pieces. Cook in glass dish for 5 minutes on high. Stir halfway through cooking time. Stir in onion. Cook for 2 minutes on high.
Stir in flour, sugar, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Slowly stir in vinegar. Cook in microwave for 3 minutes. Stir every minute.
Blend in potatoes and celery seed. Toss lightly and serve.
