Walk in interview for the posts of field staff on 11.08.2015 at 10.00 am in the office of undersigned in the research project “Addressing Bovine Tuberculosis at the Human-Animal interface and Veterinary Antibiotic use in Small Holder Peri-Urban Dairy Farms in India to Ensure Safe and Sustainable Milk Production” at the following emoluments and qualifications:
Qualifications: Field Staff
The proposed qualification and job responsibilities for the post are as follows.
1. Minimum Matric pass.
2. Knowledge of Punjabi up to matric level is required as the project involves a lot of field work and conversation in Punjabi with dairy farmers.
Desirable: Experience of working in any field level work, collection of samples, laboratory and knowledge of basic computer functions
Emoluments: 7,000 p.m fixed
Job Responsibilities:
The post is purely a field job and involves daily visit to different villages for data collection, sample collection, survey and interaction with the dairy farmers.
Maintenance of laboratories cleanliness, sterilization of glasswares and biologicals.
Sample storage and assistance to research fellows for sample analysis.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by P.I of the project.
The post is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice. The appointment will be for six months only. The incumbent will have no right what so ever for absorption in the regular university service.
