Jalandhar: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Friday complained of congestion while he was holding the fourth Sangat Darshan programme at Behlur village in Nawanshahr.
He was taken to a private hospital on the Chandigarh road. “The CM, who was running fever, felt uneasy and was put on a nebuliser. His Sangat Darshan functions scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled,” said his personal staff. The CM was later taken in an ambulance to the PGI in Chandigarh and admitted to the respiratory ICU.
