2011 Thundercats' Season 1 DVD to Ship in October

Warner Bros. announced on Thursday that the season one DVD for Cartoon Network's 2011 Thundercats remake will hit stores on October 18. The two-disc set contains 176 minutes of content and will have a suggested retail price of US$19.97.

Thundercats premiered on Cartoon Network on July 29 with a one-hour special that reached 2.4 million viewers. The series continues to air every Friday night at 8:30 p.m.

Studio 4°C, the anime studio producing Thundercats, collaborated with Warner Bros. Animation in the past to produce parts of The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight, and Halo Legends.




The 8 episodes included in the set are:

Episode 1: “Omens: Part 1″
Episode 2: “Omens: Part 2″
Episode 3: “Ramiak Rising”
Episode 4: “Song of the Petalars”
Episode 5: “Old Friends”
Episode 6: “Journey to the Tower of Omens”
Episode 7: “Legacy”
Episode 8: “The Duelist and the Drifter”
