they misunderstood them as muslims, taehde ch v fault sikha da hi ae. Ek ta oh apne group ch bahar nikal ke nahi vicharde, may be communication problem.
Secondly, what % of sikhs living in america keep kesh and support a turban..??????

It is not muslim's fault, it may be white's ignorance but not their fault.

@ radarhunter Did that sikhnetwork service ever sent you a message where a non-Sikh went out of the way to help a Sikh? Or they specialized in spreading hate?

I was talking about the fact and not facts....
and secondly if due to communication problem then also why were we taken to be muslims.... Why because of them intentionally or unintentionally people make us suffer....

I love is towards Sikh religion and ur is towards every.... I respect every religion and so do u.... But such a torture is not acceptable since when u are not the culprit.....

call it what ever you want, but we are really ignorant about our religion, most of us dont even know our history, we never acted upon what was said and directed by our gurus,
it is destined that our religion will always remain under attack, either its from outside or from inside...oh kehndy aa na" j sikh nu sikh na mary ta sikh kady na hary"
(if a sikh does not kill a sikh, sikhs can never be defeated)
many examples if u look around..from history to present,
whoever raised his voice was killed..do anybody remembers "khalra"
we are not minority but are being forced to be..

I guess you don't read the post properly or simply misunderstood it.
Main likhya si ke Sikhs di ik problem aa haigi ke oh apni community shad dujya vich vicharde nahi. Where the hell that conveys that Sikhs should hang with just fellow Sikhs? On the contrary I am asking that Sikhs should socialise more often with other groups.

I never said all Sikhs should keep kesh. I told that coz most % of sikhs do not support turban now so that Turbaned Image of Sikh is not so popular in US, therefore it is not fault of Goras or Muslims that they do not recognize turban guys as Sikhs.

let us not forget the Jallianwala Bagh`s incident where in the amount of hundreds our people were killed.

Then came the Partition of 1947.. Properties worth billions was left out in Pakistan by out people who`s lifetime business got destroyed because they had to move out of Pakistan..

From Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji`s time till Sri Guru Gobind Dev ji a lot of Sikhs lost their lives for the protection of the religion which was afterwards Khalsa Panth i.e. the "Brotherhood" of Sikhs, by Sri Guru Gobind Ji Sahib 10th Guru Of Sikhs.

Aurangzeb's successor Bahadur Shah 1 made peace with Guru Gobind Singh and had friendly relations with Sikhs, So wouldn't that rebuilt the 'bridge' destroyed by 'Jahangir & Aurangzeb' ?

If it was so then why Guru Gobind Singh ji sent Baba Banda Singh Bhaduar

I 'll tell u ik sakhi that will help us alot understanding Guru's preaching.
When Aurangzeb died ,sikhs brought this news to Guru Gobind Singh ji
with a great pleasure and happiness, but Guru jididn't eact to that news , thn one of those sikh asked Guru ji that ru not happy on the news of aAurangzeb , whos is biggest enemy of sikhs and who also killed ur shahebzadea.at that moment guru ji replied, My motive is not to kill any one or being happy if someone cruel dies, I will be happy if Aurangzeb as being emperor but if startes ruling like a king who serves his people not tortutre them , my fight was against his thinking to convert every person in world to muslim, further they said one dies how could u be so sure that other king is not going to be that cruel or morethen that , they said its going to besame even if cruel dies or even if good king dies until and unless we are able to change bad thinking of other person to good ,preach this to whole world.

I think this is true also there are many other sakhis also there like shivnabh bhagirath of Guru Nanak Dev ji time.
and many more what we need to do is read them and try to understand there meanings
