For his stunning performance in 'My Name Is Khan'

Best Performances
King Khan rules! He’s back at the top after lying low for the last couple of years. In the latest poll done by ApunKaChoice, Shahrukh Khan has been voted the Best Actor of 2010 for his stellar performance in director Karan Johar’s film My Name Is Khan which released in February this year.

In our poll, we had asked our readers to vote the outstanding performance of the year and the options were: SRK in MNIK, Salman Khan in Dabangg, Hrithik Roshan in Guzaarish and Ajay Devgan in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

We were bombarded with an overwhelming number of votes but the majority of them favoured Shahrukh. In MNIK, he played a moderate Muslim with mild form of autism. Despite the humungous odds, the character sets out on a unique journey to meet the US President Barack Obama to tell him that he is not a terrorist.

2. Salman Khan in 'Dabangg'

The biggest hit of the year, Dabangg had Salman flaunting his style like never before. His performance got 41 percent votes, not enough to make it the best of the year.

3. Hrithik in 'Guzaarish'

As a wheelchair bound quadriplegic who makes a petition for his own death (euthanasia), Hrithik Roshan stunned the movie buffs with his jaw dropping performance in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Guzaarish. Hrithik got 8 percent votes for his performance.

4. Ajay in Once Upon a Time...

Playing the big-hearted, conscientious don in the Mumbai of 1970s, Ajay Devgan was the dynamo of director Milan Luthria’s film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. Alas, he couldn’t garner any votes from our readers.
