We got the update on the dualSIM N9208 version of the Note5. The update brings around several improvements to the device performance and security. There are also new features and additions however a detailed change-log hasn’t been provided yet. One of the major improvements is the performance when fast charging which is now even faster however, it isn’t mentioned just how fast it will be after the update. We will test it out in the coming days and let you know.
The update also now brings the Android security patch level information in the about page. In this case, the update brings the phone upto speed with the November 2015 security patch. The smartphone isn’t yet on Marshmallow but on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 but we should get an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow sometime in December for the Note5 and S6 edge+. While the update is rolling out to Note5 devices across the globe, the update will take sometime to appear on your particular device based on the region and model so do give it sometime if you don’t already see it on your phone.
