Vents out his angst?

To read a sarcastic rant from Salman Khan on his twitter page was indeed shocking. The bindaas actor normally stays away from making statements on the system or state of affairs. But some of his latest tweets reek of angst, for in them he mocks the idea of ‘Incredible India’.

“What is India? Nation where Pizza reaches home faster than Ambulance & Police. Where you get car Loan @ 5 percent but Education Loan @ 12 percent. Where Rice is Rs 40 but Sim card is free.

“Where people worship Goddess Durga but want to kill their girl child... Olympic shooter wins gold, government gives 3 crore. Another shooter dies fighting with terrorist, government pays 1 lakh. Really, Incredible India,” Salman wrote on the micro-blogging site.

But perhaps realizing that he’d expressed far too much cynicism, the actor clarified that the tweets were smses that have been floating around.

The 44-year-old star plays a corrupt cop in his next film Dabangg, slated to release in September.
