Police ‘unable to identify’ Khali’s gunman

FIR registered a day after he opened fire on people, injuring two; but remains unnamed so far
A day after Big Boss contestant Khali’s gunman opened fire on people assembled outside the house of Deputy Speaker Satpal Gosain and injured two persons, the police here registered an FIR against the man but refused to name him, saying they were yet to identify him.
SHO Surinder Mohan told The Indian Express, “We have still not been able to identify the gunman.”

The two injured men — Gurpreet Singh Shunty and Ashok Kumar — are admitted in CMCH and Apollo hospital. While Gurpreet got a gunshot in his shoulder, Ashok was injured in the neck. The SHO, however, said, “Ashok Kumar has got bruises and not gunshot injuries. He got injured during the scuffle.”
Khali was invited by Gosain for a dinner party and, after dinner, when he was leaving in his car, fans gathered all around and asked him to get pictures clicked with them. Sources said Khali had already obliged about 250 fans in Gosain’s house and wanted to proceed. At this, some of his fans threw stones on his car and even lay down before his vehicle.
Gosain said, “One of the fans also pulled Khali’s hair and looking at this, his gunman opened fire in the air due to which two persons have been injured.”
Gosain, however, said, “We had called Khali to honour him for his achievements and the public treated him very badly, due to which his gunman opened fire. "
