NAVJOT SINGH SIDHUS' ASSETS WORTH CRORES

BJP nominee from Amritsar Lok Sabha seat Navjot Singh Sidhu, who filed his nomination has assets worth Rs 3.4 crore including three luxury cars valued at approximately Rs 40 lakh.
As per the affidavit filed along with his papers, the cricketer-turned-politician owns a Toyata valued at Rs 13 lakh, a Toyata Corolla worth Rs 5.27 lakh, a Ford Endeavour luxury vehicle worth over Rs 14 lakh, a luxury Skoda car valued at Rs 13 lakh in the name of dependents besides an Ambassador car valued at Rs 391000.
The sitting BJP MP, his wife and dependents have investments and deposits worth Rs 27.69 lakh. Sidhu has no jewellery but his wife owns ornaments worth Rs 1436670 and a diamond ring worth Rs 400000. The details of other immovable property Sidhu and his wife owned number of buildings including residential and commercial having value Rs 193 lakhs and wife Rs 40 lakhs.
According to the affidavit an FIR was registered against Sidhu on December 12, 1988 under sections 302,323/34 of the IPC. However, the Supreme Court on January 23, 2007 stayed his conviction and sentence in the case
