She returns home after making India proud
Nicole Faria, the girl from Bangalore who won the coveted Miss Earth crown at a sparkling pageant held in Vietnam on December 4, is back in India.
Wearing the Miss Earth 2010 sash, she arrived to a warm welcome at the airport. Later, a party was held at Atria Mall to felicitate Nicole.
Nicole is the first Indian girl to win Miss Earth tiara. No wonder she has made the fashion fraternity in India proud. The frat came together to wish Nicole for her winning the crown.
Following her win, Nicole is endorsing the ‘green cause’. “I am very keen on taking on initiatives to ensure the green patches not just remain but are multiplied. As for Bangalore, I want to start an agency with cycle rickshaws. They will not just reduce pollution but also support many families,” she is quoted to have said after her win.
