First debuted at this year’s CES, Lenovo has finally put their 3D notebook, the IdeaPad Y560D, on sale through their official company website.
Boasting an Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz CPU, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 GPU with 1GB of RAM and a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LCD display, the IdeaPad Y560D uses the TriDef 3D system to translate 2D photos and videos into an eye-popping three dimensions… not to mention the real focus of a system like this, 3D gaming.
Other specs of the IdeaPad Y560D include 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and the ability to switch graphics between the discrete ATI and an integrated Intel HD chipset. As for ports, you’ll find the usual array, including USB 2.0, eSATA, ExpressCard, VGA and HDMI out.
The price, unfortunately, is a bit of a problem: it’ll cost you $1,399, which is a couple benjamins north of what was originally expected. If you want 3D gaming on the go, though, the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D may be just the laptop for you.
