yupp, there is a life after death

When a tree dies its natural death, it leaves behind many small plants which grows from the seeds of flowers of big tree.
Similarly when a human being dies, it leaves behind kids and they are part of his life, born out of him. They kept living even after your death.

Logically, when a human being dies, his remains settles down across various elements (air, water, soil) and from their new life originates (bacterias, plants etc).

Philosphically, when a human being dies he leaves behind his philosphy which sometimes remain forever. Physically he is dead but his philosphy of life lives even after his death.
