i'm not a sikh, so i don't know, if it is apropiate to write something.
i think, ke if the majority in panjaab wants khalistan,
then they should get it. it's their democratic right.
but it makes me very sad. because 2/10 of my family are sikhs,
and the most inspiring ppl in my life have been sikhs.
jeena aur hassa koi panjaabiyon se sikhe.
and because the indian polticians have messed everything,
indian society is tearing apart and hating each other.
@ak47
i don't have an answer to everything you said,
but i have a question:
Hindu desh hai Ithe sikha nu kaun puchdaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
why do u feel, ke india is a hindu country??
india is a secular democracy.
radical hindus, like vhp, rss say that india is doing nothing for hindus,
and you're saying that india is a hindu country. lol ..
i critize india a lot too, but i'm sure that india is secular.
what has india done for kashmiri pandits so far?
why does india reserve seats for dalits in universities and goverment jobs?
because india is a "hindu country" ???
i agree with you, that india has to improve a lot, in MANY things,
like education, infrastructure etc.
meri praathna ai, ke india improve kare.
but if everyone would be like you and say,
ke apna khalistan banauna ai,
apna bihar banauna ai, apna gujrat banauna ai,
apna eh banauna ai, apna oh banauna ai ..
then the entire indian subcontinent will stay the way it is.
no progress, no economic develepment.
remember that india was captured by brtish because of disunity in the indian socienty.
one kingdom was atacking another kingdom,
one maharaja was fighting with another maharaja,
one nawaab was fighting with another nawaab.
making a new country will not solve the old problems.
unfortunately, 1984 was not the only incident in india.
there are many other examples of injustice.
like:
the islamic terrorism in kashmir,
the hindu mobs in gujraat,
the injustice towards dalits etc.
muh morrne mei'n koi mardaangi nehi hai.
you quoted Sri Guru Tegh Bahaadurji,
who gave his life to defend the rights of kashmiri pandits against islamic persecution.
he could also have said:
"mennu ki? oh taan kashmiri, te may panjaabi. oh apne dukh vekhen, te may apne"
but instead of this, he laid down his life for them.
making a new state will not give justice to the victims of 1984.
making a new state will be only like running away from a problem.
the innocent ppl who were killed by mobs should get justice.
and all the politicians who lead the mobs should get life sentence,
and phaansi ka phanda.
and that will not only be the justice for the victims of 1984,
but for all indians. so that something like this never, never, never happens again. inshaAllah.
just my opinion. bhul chuk maaf.
