One of India's well-known dramatists Feroz Khan brings to town his critically-acclaimed play Dinner With Friends. To be held at the Centrepoint Theatre on March 18 and 19, the play that explores the turbulent lives of two married couples features Bollywood actress Tisca Chopra, Perizaad Zorabian, Vinay Jain and Joy Sengupta.
"Dinner With Friends holds a mirror to the modern relationships of today. Every couple will be able to identify with it. It will make you laugh and cry at the same time," says Chopra in an interview with tabloid!.
Known for her role in Bollywood hit Taare Zameen Par, Chopra is confident the play, which played to packed houses in India, will be welcomed by the theatre aficionados in Dubai.
"Dubai is our first international stop. In India, it was received very well. Its wry humour — often caustic — was appreciated the most," she adds. This is not her first play with Khan. He had earlier directed her in the critic-friendly play Mahatma Vs Gandhi.
