German tuners at Avus Performance have given a cool makeover to the Nissan GT-R. They started with the limited production GT-R Black Edition, which has dark metal gray exteriors with red and black interiors. Avus covered the exteriors in flat black wrap giving it the matte finish, while the wheels have been done in a glossy black finish.
The ride height has been reduced with the introduction of new coilovers. Retuning of the ECU of the 3.8-l twin turbo engine, combined with a sportier exhaust has increased the engine output to 580hp from the stock 485hp, and torque has gone up to 516.3 lb-ft. The entire conversion will cost nearly €8043 ($11900), with the matte black wrap costing €2499, coilovers €1299, ECU tune at €1899, exhaust costs another €998, alloy wheels and wheel spacers cost €999 and €349 respectively.
