CM orders setting up of Deputy Registrar’s office

Chief Minister Harish Rawat has directed prompt setting up of Deputy Registrar’s office at the Cooperative Department in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions.
The Chief Minister gave the directions while discussing departmental budget and inter-departmental matters with ministers and senior officials at the Secretariat on Wednesday. He also directed the officials to complete the formalities for establishing a cardiac centre in Almora.
He directed the officials to deploy a full-time high-level officer under the NRHM scheme. He told them to prepare an integrated plan for providing assistance to girls for their vocational training and marriage.
A proposal should be prepared to raise pension for widows of martyrs of World War II. The necessary funds for forensic laboratory and pension for state agitators must be released soon, Rawat added. Cabinet ministers Pritam Singh, Surendra Singh Negi, Dinesh Aggarwal, Harish Chandra Durgapal and Dinesh Dhanai attended the meeting.
