Windows 8.1 new Update 1 to include boot to desktop

Windows 8.1 new Update 1 to include boot to desktop by default

It seems like Microsoft is once again experimenting the way Windows boots. With the launch of Windows 8, the company introduced a new Start Screen which shows up when you boot or open your Windows 8 Computer, but after the launch of Windows 8.1 the company preferred to provide an option to its users, if they want to see the start screen every time they boot or if they want to directly boot to the desktop screen. And now in its upcoming Windows 8.1 Update 1, Microsoft is reportedly planning to enable this feature by default.

The new Update 1 Package is still in development process, so there are chances that Microsoft might change its decision. But Microsoft is trying its best to fulfill the users demand. However there are lots of Windows users who are still waiting to see the Start Button returning back in Windows. The company is already having some big plans for Windows 9, which is scheduled for the launch in 2015. But before that, the company is expected to ship Windows 8.1 Update 1 this March.
